Expectant Prayers ®

For Such a Time As This

I don't know what you've been receiving in your emails lately, but if you are like me, you've been sent several forwards concerning Esther.

This word was also given to me back in January (the importance of the role of an Esther) and happened to be the theme verse for my main speaking event this year.  My blog archives will attest that the theme I chose was "Daughters of the King" and that our focus verse was the very one that is being sent to thousands of Christians;

"And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this." Esther 4:14

Beyond the political scene (which we who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying KNOW that this is the truth) I also know that there is a meaning beyond what most out there are grasping.

First, however, I will talk about the political role....

Yes, there is no doubt that we are in an Esther/Haman situation in this country.   I knew this was the situation, as God clearly spoke it to my spirit the night of the VP announcement.  Many, many, many in the body of Christ have heard the same thing.  God does things in miraculous ways and today we know that many eyes are being opened and we are seeing and hearing the spirit in a unified way (because of the workings of the Spirit).  The Spirit is available to ALL believers and God does not want us to be ignorant when it comes to direction and leading though His voice.  All believers are to hear what the Spirit is saying... you have the capability to hear... you just need to listen!

There are some obvious similarities that we glean from our current situation, but let me encourage all of us to keep the focus on God.  What we see unfolding is someone who has been put in the right place in the right time for the right godly reasons, and GOD is still the one in control.

Might I suggest, however, that God is already accomplishing many things with this "pick" that should not be minimized and perhaps are the very reason He used this person in the first place!?   Of course, as Christians- we WANT to see the godly in positions of authority, to govern rule and reign our people in the ways of righteousness - but would our faith dwindle, burn out, wax cold, and falter if this particular righteous person didn't make it into office?

Look at what is already being accomplished and maybe you will agree that God is doing more here than what we see on the surface!

-This "Esther" is already being given an audience with the people.  A Holy Remnant is arising that recognize and call on the Lord in this hour who maybe were not so "energized" before

-A moral and righteous edict has already been voiced across our land because of the "positions" and "policies" this person holds.  Truth is pouring forth.

-People are praying for God's will to be accomplished...and maybe they weren't before!  God is prompting people to prepare for His coming and many are getting their lives straightened out because of what is going on in the political scene

-We ARE BEING REVIVED (and that's the truth - for all of you out there expecting/praying for the church to be revived... it IS happening).  Even the secular slant of mainstream media attests to the fact that people are "energized" when this person speaks!  This is no mistake.  We are gaining a new fervor and zeal, a holy fire that is working the power of the Spirit in us; boldness, wisdom, authority, and power.

Look at the verse that precedes Esther 4:14.  It says, " For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish."

Silence has been broken and deliverance is at hand, but perhaps not in a way we expect.

Jesus came in a manner that we did not expect.   Many who were looking for a "king" expected Him to come already adorned in His royal robes and ready to rule and reign the world.  God chose to send a baby.  He did not come to govern (at that time), but that through Him the world might be saved.   Today, Jesus is still coming in a way many (who do not have a relationship with him) are expecting.   Through the mere gift of these elections, Jesus is being openly proclaimed through every outlet available!

That, my friends is nothing to be minimized.

And, perhaps the very job God intended all along IS being accomplished.  Through a "baby" to the political scene, a people who were waxing cold are turning to Him in the last hour and even some are returning to Him!    Don't put God in a box and get mad at Him if things don't pan out the way you expected them to in the physical sense.  Of course, that is our prayer... but again, our ultimate hope is in the very God we serve.    My faith is not conditional upon who is sitting in the office in Washington.  My faith is based upon the Living God who is seated on the throne in heavenly places!

We all need to live out in boldness what Esther proclaimed to Mordecai; she would do what she needed to do, say what she needed to say- "And if I perish, I perish."   Our job is not to usher in a world government that will save a people, but rather to usher in the Kingdom of God.  We must be faithful to Him in this final hour... even unto death-as Esther said.

Now, with that all being said (and hopefully fully grasped), let me go on to what God has been speaking to me about the Esther "spirit" that is alive in each of us in this present hour!  This is exciting- and the very message I delivered in may!  I have to point out as well, that this political candidate has even been saying, "I am doing my job- and you need to do your part."  Esthers... arise!

YOU are also a modern day Esther.

What?  YES, you are!   The very life of Esther is the epitome of Christianity.  Esther was adopted as a child by her uncle, Mordecai (Esther 2:7).   We, as children of God have been chosen/adopted into God's family.

Romans 8:15 says, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."     GOD is our Father!

Romans 8:16-17 go on to tell us, "The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory."

and Ephesians 1:5 says, "He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will."

Esther needed to be elevated to her royal position in order to have audience with King Xerxes.  This position allowed the opportunity for the words of God to pour through her to influence the "saving grace".   Let me point out again, this "power" of influence has already been granted to this modern "Esther" we're all noticing Realize, however, that YOU have been granted a royal position... being a child of God through the power of salvation!  Through this "royal position" we have been given great authority to perform our duties on this earth.  God has chosen US, this end times generation - to be entrusted with all the responsibilities, challenges, and functions OF an end time generation.   Out of all the people who could have been born for this time... He chose YOU!  In this day when persecution may affect us, where the very strongest in the things of the Lord can be deceived and wax cold, and His Word is to be taken to the ends of the earth... we ALL have a great responsibility.

Just because you look at someone who is obviously walking in the Spirit as an Esther; your role in this modern world is just as vital (though your face may not on daily TV).  Like this very person said, "You need to do your part."

Whatever it is that God is placing on your heart to do... do it with all your might as one who serves God, not man.  Don't cater to earthly rewards, acclamations, or praise from the lips of men.   God says that we are all equal before Him - there are no favorites.

I am calling to you today to rise up... rise up... RISE UP... and run toward the finish line.   Allow God to use you in this end time harvest.  Let Him strengthen the arms that hang down, the legs that are tired and weary, and the voice that was still.

You are at the right place, in the right time, for the right reasons, to accomplish what God has called YOU to do.

Remember- we do have a voice.  A great voice is lifting over the world today.  It's crying out for souls, it's a voice in the wilderness calling for repentance, it's proclaiming righteousness and the infallibility of God's Word, it's demanding justice and seeking mercy and grace, it's encouraging one another and even more so as we see the day approaching- and...IT'S PROCLAIMING THAT HE IS THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!  No matter what happens at the polls... God has accomplished so much already and HE is always in control.

I pray that you will receive this message today and realize that you are a modern day Esther!  Walk in boldness with the Spirit and live out YOUR destiny!
