I am anticipating today to be my last regular doctor visit before "D-Day" (delivery day)! I am excited. Today should end up being pretty low key. Last night, I worked with the kids on their school work so that we could have a half day today rather than a full day today. I have several errands to run in preparation for baby's arrival as well as things to do for the Crowning this weekend. Hope I can hold out. I plan on taking lots of pictures this weekend and posting some hopefully by Monday.
I can't believe the strong contractions I've been having over the past few days. One thing is for certain, delivery is very near... one way or the other! I have noticed that the Braxton Hicks seem to get worse the more children you have. Lucky me! Other than that, the end of this pregnancy has been very bearable. Not a lot of swelling to report (I am still able to wear my wedding ring and the ring on my other hand) and my shoes still fit almost like normal. My blood sugar has been very good, but a little harder to maintain over the past few days because I haven't had time to exercise! BAD ME! Maybe I'll get in a few sessions over the weekend!
Today may be the birth day for friends Debbie and Dion's newest arrival. Debbie had to have an amniocentesis yesterday to see if baby was ready to be born. Doctors have to take the baby early due to complications with her last pregnancy. I didn't hear the results, but if baby is on the way today, we will hear soon! Also, they never find out what they are having and it makes me even more anxious to hear word. Hopefully, we'll have an update by tomorrow!
Congratulations are in order for our friends Rebecca and Brett who moved into their first home this week! They have only been married a year and purchased their first house! Isn't God good????
Congratulations and we hope you enjoy your new country atmosphere!
