The food is great here, but this place is
Not like home, I miss all of your smiling faces.
Late last night this little lover
Had to hide under Celeste’s covers!
There was thunder and some lightning.
I shook with fear, the noise was really very frightening!
Now this morning, things are better.
So I thought I’d write you a letter.
I had my treat and some food and water.
Aunt Jenni says that I am really not a bother.
Cousin Winston and I are playin’
But I don’t know what he is sayin’.
He’ll go lay down before I’m tired.
But you know me… I am a little wired.
Hope you’re having fun without me.
I haven’t cried yet, and I’m not pouting.
