Once again, it's hunting season on Christianity and our core values! Are you surprised? I'm not!
There is as new documentary film out (set soon to air on the Discovery Channel) called "The Lost Tomb of Jesus". The air date is set for Sunday, March 4th at 9pm ET. The film comes from executive producer James Cameron and was directed by Simcha Jacobovici. This film is a piece that all Christians should be aware of. I intended on mentioning this documentary today following a special I saw on the upcoming film just yesterday morning! The film makes claim to finding the remains of Jesus and his "wife", Mary Magdalene, as well as a "son". Doesn't that sound a lot like the Davinci Code? Yup. They attest to have made a great case toward answering the age old question of what happened to Jesus' body. Um, I'll tell you. He was resurrected, therefore there IS no body to find. Jesus' resurrection is one of the most well documented historical events of all time, yet people seem to ignore that fact altogether. The motivation is clear... to suggest that Jesus has not risen from the dead is to shake the very foundations of Christianity altogether. That's pretty brazen and bold and is definitely a topic that every Christian should be made aware of.

A friend sent me an alert from a Christian Conservative group this afternoon concerning this documentary. Hopefully you'll get some in your mailbox, too.
Don't bury your head in the sand about this... be informed. You may not think that this affects you, but as a Christian we must be prepared to give an answer when people ask us about such this as this!
See you tomorrow, friends!
