Expectant Prayers ®

Remembering....

Today we are remembering the events of 9.11.2001 with reflection; for those who lost their lives, in prayer for our country and soldiers, and with hope for a better tomorrow.

Our future depends on not allowing past mistakes and tragedies to dictate our future.  We must be a people who listens to God and walk in His ways.

Please join me in prayer today.

"Has a nation ever changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their Glory for worthless idols."  Jeremiah 2:11

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  2 Chronicles 7:14

I would also like to wish a Happy 7th Birthday to our little Leviticus.   He is our constant reminder of the happenings of 9/11, born right as the towers were falling that morning. God has a special call on this boy's life!

I will never forget the hospital chaplain entering my room and commenting "You don't even look like you've had a baby and there is such an overwhelming peace in this room.  Why?"   Our room was one of the few (if not the only) that had the TV on and dozens were flocking in to watch what was unfolding in New York.  My doctor's daughter works at the WT complex at the World Bank.  He was more than worried that morning!  But even in the midst of "giving birth" I was able to minister and trust in our God and Savior.   What an awesome testimony and for us!  I thank the Lord constantly that we got to bring the world some "life" on a day when so many were looking at "death".

Blessings, Levi!

We love you and are so very proud of you!
