Well, we would have liked to get aboard the Holiday Express. The family headed down to Union Station yesterday afternoon (between church services) to visit the train along with friend, Michelle, and her daughter. We had no idea that the line would be so long. We thought it was probably due to the fact that most of the kids there were taking their good old sweet time with Santa Claus instead of boarding to look at the train (which is what we were interested in). It probably would have taken several hours for us to get to be able to board the train. Michelle would have liked to see Mr. and Mrs. Claus because they were played by folks she works with. Michelle (in case you're reading this), I guess that makes you some sort of elf. Okay, now I'm rolling with laughter.
The train will make its way to a couple more cities this week and we just may be able to catch it at a different station. Zeke really wanted to get on the train, so we're going to try our best.
