Juvenile Bald Eagle
We had to take these through our binoculars to get a good shot!
We saw about 15 bald eagles!
Snow Geese galore! The numbers from the ranger station said there
were anywhere from 250,000 - 400,000 snow geese currently on the
reservation! When they take flight, the squawking is deafening.
My favorite still is the Canadian geese, but there were only a
handful there. Each year holds something different!
These were my favorite for the year. Six pairs of Trumpeter Swans!
The photos do not give them justice. It's the first time I've seen
so many. Absolutely breath taking. Here's an extended view of the
swans and snow geese on wing.
Still my favorite from last year, Ducks on the Water in the Sunset!
