BOUNCING BABY BOY
Shad has found a new joy in his Johnny Jumper (the old fashioned bouncer that hangs on your door frame). The first day we put him in it, he didn't do much of anything. He moved a little (mostly around in a few circles) so I ended up taking him out just after a few minutes. The second day, however, he found that bouncing could be a whole lot of fun. Boing, boing, boing! We all sat around for nearly fifteen minutes watching him go.
The other day, Pete put him in the bouncer and it was close to nap time. He bounced for a little while and then it dwindled down to only a few little bounces here and then. Before Pete knew it, Shad was asleep! He'd basically rocked himself to sleep......
Of course, I took him out and put him to bed.

Congratulations to my daughter, Celeste, for earning a 3rd place ribbon at the JBQ meet last month! Her team mate, Jared, also earned a ribbon for 5th place! Way to go! They will be on their way to Districts in a few weeks along with the quizzers from our other team. Good luck to all!
